You need to fasten your seat belts because we are in for a wild ride! The year 2007 proved to us how fragile the financial system is all over the earth. The central banks world-wide have poured in over one trillion dollars to keep the banking system afloat, and the financial experts say it is not enough. We have also learned that in two months time, over 500,000 homes have been repossessed, and they tell us the worst is yet to come.
Because of the turmoil and treachery in the government, many states are threatening to secede from the union of the United States. The Lakota Indians have informed the government they are no longer a part of the United States, and all treaties they have signed with the United States are null and void. Can marshal law be far behind these revolutionary moves?
Much has been happening in the medical field also. The state of Maryland recently threatened to put parents in jail for refusing to get their children vaccinated. Big brother is again raising its ugly head to take away the most sacred rights given to us by God; and that is to raise the children He has given us to raise. The medical profession and the FDA are wanting to outlaw all supplements that promote good health. There are more reports of Bird Flu world-wide. Outbreaks of ancient diseases such as the bubonic plague, polio, and many of the fever based diseases are being reported. God's people need to improve their immune systems to ward off the new diseases and protect themselves from the old diseases. The new mutated cold virus strain and the staph infections are the new killers that have just begun.
Well, the year 2008 is the election year again. We have been bombarded the whole year of 2007 with political speeches. Lies have become common place. The only truths they candidates tell are when they tell how low down their opponents are. And that we can believe, because they are all cut from the same bolt of cloth. Of course they all claim to be good Christians, but election time is the only time they talk about their godliness. We need to remember the words of Jesus:
"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Matthew 7:20
If we checked their fruits, we would not vote for any of them to be a dog catcher. They all claim to have the answers to the problems facing this nation. The only problem is, "There is no answer to the problems facing this nation." You cannot return this nation from its bankrupt condition, when spending is out of control. A sixth grace school child could figure that out. The year 2008 should be a very interesting year, but we should ask ourselves, "Will we live in the same world we do now, at the beginning of 2009?As always in Christ,
