"Then Peter opened his mouth, and said,
Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every
nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with
Him." Acts 10:34 -35
If we are truly seeking the Lord, our whole desire will be to become
accepted by Him. To be accepted means to approve, to be in
agreement, believe in, and to be received freely. Ask yourself the
Does the Lord approve of what I am doing in my walk?
Is He in agreement with my thoughts and my actions?
Lord, do You believe me, when I tell You that I am going to do
something for You?
O Lord, are You receiving my manner of life favorably?
Paul admonishes us today:
"Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence
only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with
fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both
to will and to do of His good pleasure." Philippians 2:12 - 13
Beloved, examine your heart, and ask yourself:
Am I working out my own salvation with You as My guide?
Am I coming before You with fear and trembling?
Or, am I coming into the Lord's presence with a head full of how
someone else says I am to act or think?
Or, am I thinking, perhaps my attendance will make me
accepted with You.
Or, perhaps am I feeling that my works will be enough to please You.
It is time, beloved, to examine ourselves. It is time to be
honest and come humbly before Him, and let Him speak to our hearts.
In verse 13, Paul tells us that it is God who is working in
us. We need to have this personal relationship with our
Father. We need to become as Paul, who had learned from
personal experience that we must work out our own salvation with the
When we look again at Acts 10:35, we find that God is no respecter of
persons. The Father is desiring a personel relationship with
YOU, and He can only do this as you read His Word, and seek
His will in your life, and put His Word into action. Beloved,
this is a daily walk, a daily work. Are you willing to walk
this walk in Him?
Or, are you
depending on someone else to read His Word, to seek His Word, and to do
are the most important questions you need to ask yourselves in this
last hour of time.
The Lord has given us His Word, and many helps to understand His
Word. He has given us the five-fold ministry to help us in
our walk, but we must seek Him daily for ourselves if our whole desire
is to be accepted by Him.
Listen as the writer of Hebrews exhorts us:
"See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who
refused Him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we
turn away from Him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook
the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not
the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more,
signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things
that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have
grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly
fear: For our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:25 - 29
Am I serving God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear?
Am I allowing God to speak to me today?
Am I allowing God to shake my earth and also my heavenly
Spiritual walk to bring me to the death of the flesh?
Peter tells us:
"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust,
that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but
quickened by the Spirit:" I Peter 3:18
Are you desiring to put the old man of flesh to death and
become totally quickened by the Spirit to live eternally?
Listen and take heed to the writer of Hebrews:
"For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their
salvation perfect through sufferings." Hebrews 2:10
Are you willing to come into God's perfection in your life, through
IT IS TIME!
This is not the time to turn away
from His still, small voice.
IT IS TIME
to get quiet before Him and answer these most important questions in
Beloved, the thunderings and lightnings and fires are upon
the horizon. We need to prepare our hearts in our prayer
closets while it is yet day.
"O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our
maker. For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the
sheep of His hand. To day if ye will hear His voice . . . harden not
your heart . . . Psalm 95:6 - 8a
May God bless and keep you as you press
toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
