Dear Body,                                                                                                                                    May 22, 2007

We greet you in the name of Christ Jesus our Lord. I read one time where a man compared the church with cows and coyotes. The cow goes along with her head down, eating her grass, oblivious to all that is around her. She is fenced in to her situation. She knows if the grass gets short her master will open a gate to more and better pasture. This is a picture of the organized church who are not alert to the signs of the times, who are only interested in their own ease and comfort. The coyote is alert, his eyes open, his ears perked up, and alert to every noise and movement. Nothing will catch him unaware. He is a light sleeper. At any rustle in the brush, he is awake and alert. Such are those who watch and pray. As the days become more evil, the more alert we must become. We can be like the cow who stands with her eyes half closed, chewing her cud, or we can be as the coyote who is alert, listening to all that is around him. Jesus teaches us to be coyotes:

"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares." Luke 21:34

We are to take heed (listen up), so that our hearts will not be overcharged (weighed down or overburdened) with surfeiting (headaches caused by too much wine or worry), drunkenness (intoxication), and the cares of this life (anxieties). We need to be alert, like the coyote so the Day of Judgment does not come upon us unaware.

We wish to thank all those who have been faithful in their support of this ministry. These are important days for us to get the vital words to the body of Christ. I do not need to remind you how the cost of everything is out of sight. We know God is able to feed His flock. We have heard from many, how important these messages are to prepare His body for the days ahead. It is our privilege and pleasure to serve the body of Christ with whatever the Lord supplies. Let us hear from you how these messages have helped you.

As always in Christ,

Questionaire

We have all heard about the corruption in professional sports, how these young men who are overpaid and made rich at an early age, do not have the responsibility to handle their wealth. Many seem to constantly be in trouble with the law for carrying guns, drunken brawls, use of steroids, drugs, and sexual improprieties. So we are not surprised when we hear of their latest escapades.

We need to ask ourselves which sports do you think are guilty of the following:

36 have been accused of espousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted two or more businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card

14 have been arrested on drug related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drunk driving during the past year

So which of the sports do you think would be guilty of such things?

The answer . . .

These crimes were not committed by those who play sports. These crimes were committed by the 535 members of the United States Congress.

This same criminal element cranks out hundreds of new laws each year to take away our freedoms and keep us subjected to their hypocrisy.

One further note: These well-dressed hypocrites have just voted themselves $ 15,000 per month retirement for life, after they serve only one term in Congress. Many are spending extended time in prison for doing less.

It is not our intention to demean those who participate in sports. Some of these men and women play their whole careers with no blemish on their name or the sport they play. They manage their money well, and are able to have a future in business. Our hats off to these who are role models for your young people. I wish we could say the same for today's politicians who seem to fit in the same category with used car salesmen and tele-marketers.
