COLOMBIA - UPDATE ON PASTOR AND WIFE, SHOT
The item below came from sources very close to Cesar and Claudia, both shot the other day in Colombia. Cesar and Claudia pastor a church of 35,000 in Bogota.
"Cesar is indeed in intensive care. Lungs filling with fluid, one not functioning properly. He was hit with 4 bullets when a motorcycle passed their vehicle and sprayed it with machine gun fire. He was hit in the neck, the chest, in the hand after bouncing off his watch - fourth location not known.
Severe swelling in his neck. The one bullet passed through his neck, missing the aorta, trachea, voice-box and spine - something the doctors found impossible to explain in human terms!
Claudia is recovering. She was struck 3 times - leg, arm and hip.
Other details that have come to our attention. Nine children were in the car with them when it was sprayed with machine gun fire. Miraculously, none of them were injured! Another example of Divine protection is the bullet deflected off of Cesar's watch. As the first bullets hit their vehicle, Cesar's hand raised to cover his chest and heart. If his hand (and watch) had not been there the bullet would have hit his heart.
This is a part of on going harassment against this pastoral couple. They were held up, bound and robbed in their own home some two weeks ago at 2:30 am. In a separate incident Claudia was cut off in traffic last week and her car nearly rolled as a result. Please pray, not only that their health be restored but that their lives will be protected and the ongoing assault would cease.
Please pray the guilty would be found and brought to justice and for God to bring salvation to them. Again, please pray the attacks would cease against this vibrant and effective couple in the service of our Lord."

This couple is yours... You made them, then bought them at the cross. We praise You for sparing them, and the children! Bring health and healing, and more so, a healing in the hearts and minds of those who sought to hurt them... work Your wonders of Law and Gospel... In Christ's Name, Amen
