Ichabod! Ichabod! Ichabod!
1/19/99 The following word was received by Harley Hickling, during the State of the Union message:
The Word for this nation is ICHABOD! ICHABOD! ICHABOD! THE GLORY HAS DEPARTED!
This night I pronounce judgement upon this land! This is a nation I called forth to stand strong and unique among all other nations this world has ever known. A nation founded on religious liberty, and yes, justice for all. I gathered people to these shores from literally every nation of the earth, and I blessed them and blessed them, and prospered them beyond any other people ever known. Moral fiber and moral strength became the hallmarks of this land. You became a people noted for your self-determination, for your sense of freedom, for your value of justice. You took the bald eagle as the symbol of the power and the glory of your nation, and it was I who said that this is good, and this is right. As a people you sought My face, and you worshipped Me. Yes, you trusted Me, and trusted in Me more than any other nation or people before you. And I approved and blessed you more and more. Nothing did I withhold from you!
Yet nearly all that was good has been corrupted. No longer do you value My Word and My laws. You have taken unto yourselves unbelievable corruptions. Where once you lived for truth and light, you have traded for darkness and lies. Where once, as a people, you exalted and praised Me, now you no longer sense any great need for Me. And many among you do not acknowledge My existence in any fashion at all.
Your churches that were once strong with the power of My presence and My pleasure are now nothing but cold, empty, mausoleums, i.e. empty of My presence. Fine structures have been built in My name, yet few have asked Me to habitate with them in these places.
This is My Word for you, America! You say to yourselves, you are doing just fine thank you! I am successful. I have accumulated wealth and everything I have ever wanted. Not once have I ever asked God for anything! I have no need of God! You have elected for your President a man who is as corrupt as you have become. You say this man is us, we are him! And you love him and wink at his corrupt ways, for after all, he is no different than you! Therefore this night, even as your President speaks great and mighty things to you people, I pronounce ICHABOD upon your land. My glory I remove from your nation. My glory I remove from your people. From this night onward My glory will reside only within, and upon My chosen people.
Where once My glory shown brightly on your land, now there shall be darkness, for that is what you prefer. A great and despeately, deep darkness I have caused to begin sweeping the breadth of your land this night. My judgement will strike every aspect of your nation. Where once there was strength, power, might, and prosperity, there will now be only chaos, for chaos will be the rule of every day.
The day is coming, and coming faster than you think, when you will cry out of your darknesss, "Oh, why God, have you forsaken us?" And I will say unto you, "Why did you forsake me, when every blessing you had was received from My hand. You have made your choice. Now live it!"
We would love to hear from you and what the Lord is speaking to you for the body in this last hour of time. May the Lord keep you in the palm of His hands.
