Are We Receiving Rain In Due Season?

From the beginning of time, when man's sin came to the place where God was forced to bring judgment, God used the weather. When we see severe changes in the weather, we know God's judgments are in the earth. The Psalmist foretells God's judgments are sent to fulfill His Word.

"Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling His Word:" Psalm 148:8

When the Lord is forced to judge His creation man, one of His first judgments is the weather. He sends storms, floods, fire, droughts, hailstones, earthquakes, snow, severe coldness, and searing heat. As the Psalmist declared, these judgments fulfill God's Word when we disobey His Word. God gave Moses the law Ancient Israel was to live by. God promised ancient Israel:

"If ye walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them. Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yeild her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely." Leviticus 26:3-5

God's Words are true today, "If ye walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and do them, then I will give you rain in due season". We need to ask ourselves, "Are we getting the proper amount of rain in our land? Are the famrers content with the weather they're getting in the earth?" What is the answer to the dilemna the world faces today? Return to God and walk in His statutes, and keep His commandments. We need to heed the words of Jesus to the multitude:

"Repent ye: for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matthew 3:2
