Romans 6

The Baptism Chapter

Look closely at the sixth chapter of Romans because it tells us we must be buried, or put the man of sin to death by being baptised in water. Being immersed in water puts us in a place where we cannot live.

This act shows to the all the world that we have buried the old man of sin in the water.

When we arise out of the water we are ready to walk in newness of life because we have left all the sin of the world in the baptism pool and our sins our washed away.  Praise the Lord!

Romans 6:4-5    "Therefore we are buried with him by  _baptism__ into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should _walk in newness of life__.

For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:"
