Why must I be baptised? Romans
6:3-13
To put the old man of sin to
_death__, that I might rise in
newness of
_life_ as Jesus Christ died for my sins and was resurrected unto new life.
Ephesians 4:24 "And
that ye put on the _new_ man, which
after God is created
in _righteousness_ and _true_ _holiness_."
Our new man, the heavenly man, is created in righteousness, and true holiness.
When we come up out of the water we begin to walk as this new man created
in righteousness and true holiness.
When we are baptized and come up out of the water then we can say, as Paul,
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20
Colossians 3:10 And have put on the
_new_ man, which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of Him that created Him.
Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore
received Christ Jesus the Lord, so _walk_
ye in
Him:
Colossians 2:12 Buried with Him in
_baptism_, wherein also ye are
_risen_ with
Him through the faith of the opeartion of God, who hath raised
Him from the dead.
Now that you have repented from your sins, it is time to bury the old
man of sin in
water baptism. Are you ready to walk in newness of life?
___________

Now that you are baptised in water, you are ready for the next step in God's complete salvation plan preparing you to become His Holy temple without spot or blemish.
