From the beginning of this nation, the Bible has had a prominent place in the lives of Americans. This nation was founded on the basis of "Being One Nation Under God". The Bible was the basis for forming our Constitution. Most of the early leaders were Bible reading men. These men were not perfect, but they were moral and upright in their thinking.

In early American homes the Bible was read at the evening meal or while the family sat around the fireplace. Mother would read to her unborn child and after the child was born she would read the wonderful Words of life to the child in his or her crib, or while she was holding or nursing the child. The child was never without the Word. Upon starting to school, the Bible was required reading. The Bible was the student's basic textbook and all other school books were Bible based. In that era, the Ten Commandments were taught as the only way of life.

How things have changed! Diversions began to crop up in the child's life: first the radio. Hours that had been spent on reading the Word or meditating upon the things of God were now replaced by the radio. The radio was man's contact with the outside world. Soon the problems that plagued the world became the concern of those whose only concern before had been their family and the things of God.

Then movies were introduced into man's altered way of thinking. Evenings spent as a family and reading the Word were now spent in the movie theater. Soon man began to try to live the myth he saw on the screen. As these so-called forms of entertainment changed and became more sophisticated, man's time was more and more absorbed. Valuable time with the family and God's Word were set aside. The movies soon became part of the dating process. Unchaperoned trips to the movie house fostered adult ideas in the children, and morals began to slip.

With the advent of television, the time spent with the family was a thing of the past. Even though they sat together in the living room, they never spoke except at commercial time. There was certainly no time for Bible reading. It could not be read at meal time or the evening news would be missed. When the late night show went off, it was too late and everyone was too tired. Besides, we can learn all we need to know in the hour we spend in church on Sunday.

Along with the television, other diversions became readily available: cassette tapes, VCR's, and CD Roms. Of course, the computer entered the home with its addicting games. Soon the censorship of these forms of diversion begin to slip. Violence, sex, adultery and all other forms of sin including foul and lewd language became acceptable. The Bible had been replaced in the people's lives. Another way of life, completely foreign to our founding fathers, had replaced the example the Bible gave us to follow.

With the addition of what is called "girly magazines, cheap tabloids, and adult movie houses" our children have been completely turned away from the things of God.

It is not only the children who have accepted this perverted way of life. The parents who were raised on these diversions have put their stamp of approval on them for their children. This perverseness does not only exist in the world. It has become an accepted way of life by those who call themselves Christians.

Many Christian homes are full of the perversion of the world: worldly magazines, tabloids, and the sports page has replaced Bible reading. The childrens' rooms have an unmonitored TV, with their walls lined with Rock stars and sports heroes. The childrens' dress has become sloppy and sensual. The teachings of the Bible has been eliminated from their lives.

The leaders of the church have also allowed these diversions to rob their time also. They no longer have the time to commit to what the Bible says they are to do. The founders of the church declared what their time was to be spent doing:

The leaders of the church were to spend their time in prayer and the ministry of the Word. Today the pastors of large churches have become more administrators than ministers of the Word. Some only go to the Word to get their scriptures to expound on. Others do not even bother to go to the Word. They go to their mail box and get prepared sermons from their headquarters. Or they go to the Christian book store and buy their prepared sermons. These sermons only fool the people by tickling their ears. They are just so many words that cannot produce the life of Christ in the people.

The people in their congregations are not encouraged to read their Bible. In fact, the "Sunday morning mindset" is encouraged, so they follow along the same blind trail; the blind leading the blind, following along in their religious rut. The pastor and flock alike sit back and watch their children do all the things the worldly children are doing, falling into the same sins, listening to the same godless rock and roll music, going to the same "R" rated movies. Sex explicit videos are brought into the home, and while the parents are gone, the children watch all the trash that comes across their unmonitored TV. Drugs, alcohol, violence, and sex is what the children are taught from the time they are born. They are set in front of the TV until the child becomes just like those who were raised in worldly homes.

Our God is omniscient (all-knowing). He knows the end from the beginning. He inspired the writers of the Bible to describe the punishment that will come upon those who obey not the gospel. God is warning His people today in so many ways of the judgment He will bring upon those who are called by His name, that have perverted His way of life by accepting the ways of the world.

God has made His people many promises through His wonderful Word. To the prophet Amos He revealed:

God's prophets have been proclaiming the judgment God would bring upon the world for many generations. Now His prophets are revealing the judgment God is about to bring upon His body. Peter, who was given the keys to the kingdom, revealed what would happen before God brings His kingdom upon the earth:

When will God bring His judgment upon the house of God? The answer is simple: "...at the end of this age...". The end of the age is on the horizon and so is the judgment God will bring upon all ungodliness in the body of Christ.

Peter then asked, "What shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" For the last one hundred and fifty years, plus, it has been taught before God's judgment is poured out, God's people would be translated off the earth in what is termed "The Rapture". All these false teachers agree that the word "rapture" does not appear in the Bible. It is a made-up word to describe a false hope.

To find the word rapture we must go to the Webster's Dictionary. The word rapture means "violence of a pleasing passion, extreme joy, pleasure, ecstasy, and transport". This is the state in which the teaching of the Rapture has left the church with the feeling of joy, pleasure, and ecstasy.

Longsuffering is a fruit of the Spirit. Longsuffering is rarely ever taught in the church. The message of change and overcoming has become a taboo teaching from the lukewarm pulpits of our day. Being separated unto God and His purposes would empty most churches. Yet these are the messages of the Bible. Paul knew that suffering is very necessary if we are to come again into the image of the Father. Paul opened his heart to the church at Philippi. His heart's cry was:

Becoming Christ-like is why we are called "Christians". And yet the message from many pulpits is, "Do the best you can, God understands." God does understand the ways of man. That is why He sent His only begotten Son to become an example to us of the way we should walk to become pleasing in His eyes. Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father, and those who will get to where He is must follow in His steps.

Peter asked the question, "What shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" First, we must realize the Bible was not written to the worldly people. They have rejected God, His way, and His will. So, in no way can we expect the world to obey the gospel of God.

So who does God expect to obey His gospel? Those who have taken His name, and by so doing, are expected to become "Christ-like". The word obey means "to be persuaded, to trust, to have confidence, and to believe". When we come into obedience we must be persuaded by, trust in, put our confidence in, and believe the Word of God.

There is one more step we must take if we are to enter into God's presence, and that is to become the Word of God. We must apply God's Word to every area of our lives. We must become living epistles of God.

As Christians we are to obey every word, every concept, every precept written in the Word of God. We must treat it as the absolute truth from the heart of God.

When we consider the root word obey, it also means "obedience". The opposite of obedience is "disobedience", or not to obey. Disobedience leads to rebellion. This takes us back to the Garden of Eden. Eve stated:

Eve confessed with her mouth she knew the Word of God. Her choices were the same as ours. We can be obedient to God's Word, or we can choose disobedience. Eve not only confessed she knew God's Word, she also knew the consequences for being disobedient to the Word. We know Eve's decision, but do we realize the decision we have made in our heart concerning God's Word?

Adam also knew God's Word, but he, too, became disobedient. Adam and Eve both hid themselves from God because their disobedience had brought them into rebellion. Because of their disobedience, Adam and Eve lost their Spiritual covering and could no longer stand in the presence of God.

Many ask, "Why would God judge His body?" The answer is simple. God is going to judge His body because they are rebellious and disobedient to His Word. Because of their disobedience they cannot stand in God's presence. It is easy to understand why God's judgment must begin at the house of God.

Today God's house has its wheat, but it also has its tares. The wheat and tares look exactly alike until the harvest. The tares stand proud and tall. They are conspicuously seen above the wheat at harvest time. The tares have nothing in their heads. They have neglected God's Word and are lifted up in their religion.

As Paul, they could declare all their religious attributes:

Paul had all the religious credentials, but he did not have Christ. Judgment had to come into Paul's life to humble him until all his old religious ideas were done away. Paul was given a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of satan, until all the tares were destroyed in his life.

In contrast, the wheat heads are bowed low. Their heads are full of the desired harvest. These bow humbly before their God. The wheat has spent their time in the Word, in fasting, and in prayer. Their only desire is to know their God and be known of Him. Their desire is not to be seen of men. Their only desire is to do the will of their Father. These full-ripe fruit have prepared themselves for the Father's use.

Jesus declared the wheat and the tares were to be allowed to grow together until the end of the age. Matthew revealed:

Jesus foretold the judgment He would bring upon His body at the end of the age, and how He would separate his wheat from the tares who stand straight and tall to be seen of men. Jesus explained:

The tares are the children of the wicked one. Again, we may think these are the worldly people. Let us take another look. The children of the wicked one are growing with the wheat. They are in the same place, the church. These are those who obey not the gospel of God. They are called by His name. They look like the wheat, but they are children of the wicked one. Paul declared to the church at Rome:

Whoever we obey, that is whose servants we are. The wheat obey the gospel. These are the children of righteousness. Those who obey not the gospel are children of disobedience. They are serving the wicked one. The Bible declares, "...the wages of sin is death." God has foretold in His Word how He will deal with the wicked:

It is the wicked that God is going to sever from among the just. It is the tares He is going to gather into bundles and burn. The Rapture teachers teach the righteous are going to be removed from the mist of the wicked. These need to read the Word and mend their ways. Paul disclosed those who obey not the gospel to the Ephesians:

The Bible becomes very clear when it speaks of those who obey the spirit of darkness. Paul calls these the "children of disobedience". Paul goes on to explain what the children of disobedience can expect from God:

Those who have put their trust in the false hope of the Rapture have been deceived by vain words. All these can expect from God is to be partakers of His wrath. In his letter to the Colossians, Paul warned those who obey not the gospel of Christ:

Paul stated that if we are to go on with Christ, then we can no longer serve the desires of the flesh. Paul listed covetousness as one of the desires of the flesh. He proclaimed it was the same as idolatry. Those who desire worldly and material things are worshiping idols. The desire for worldly wealth has become idols in many lives. God is going to send His wrath upon all who participate in such things. These have become children of disobedience, not obeying the gospel of God.

This modern age we live in, with all its diversions, has turned man away from the fear of God. A mockery has been made of everything that is moral, righteous, and holy. There is no time for the Word. Mankind has failed to heed the warnings God has given in His Word. They go blindly, stumbling along the paths they have laid out for themselves to walk in. They go their own way, doing their own thing, because there is no fear of God in their lives. The writer of Hebrews warns:

God has promised a just recompence of reward for every transgression and disobedience. Man will stand before God to give an account of the life He lived while upon the earth. Jesus warns:

Paul also admonished the church at Rome:

One should ask himself how he is going to account to God for not obeying His Word, and not walking in the steps of Jesus who was given as our example. Jesus spoke to the residents of Capernaum:

Even in this materialistic era, where technology has advanced to the point of mass production, God's wonderful Words of life have also become readily available to all. There are many different translations, many in modern languages. Man can take his choice of how he will receive the Word of God. Many Bible helps have been made available in the end of this age. We can take every word in the Bible back to its original meaning to rightly divide the Word of truth. Man has no excuse for not knowing the Word of God.

We need to ask ourselves, "Is God going to be any more lenient toward those who obey not the gospel, than He was to Sodom and Gomorrah?" Sodom and Gomorrah did not have ten righteous men in its midst. They had no access to the Word of God. What is going to be an acceptable excuse man can give when he stands before God for not obeying the gospel?

Multitudes have left the church. Others have settled for a church who tickle their ears to keep them coming. These have been given false hope. They have been told their faithfulness to their denomination will carry them through. The writer of Hebrews was very graphic when he wrote to those who do not obey the gospel of Christ:

The word impossible means "without strength, powerless, disabled, unable to be done". Once we come to the knowledge that our God is a righteous, holy, and jealous God, we know without a doubt that His judgment will surely come with its full severity upon those who are fooling around with His Word, those who use it for their own self-exultation and profit. Peter also warns those who have strayed from the path of righteousness:

The holy commandments delivered to us is the Word of God. Those who have turned from the holy commandments are those who obey not the gospel of Christ that was delivered unto them. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth:

Israel was given to us as an example. We are the generation upon whom the end of the age has come. There came a time when God wanted to audibly speak to His chosen people, Israel. He told Moses to gather all the people before Mount Sinai and He would come down in a cloud and speak to them. Boundaries were set, the people were purified, and God came down in all His power, authority, and glory. The mountain was covered with smoke. The whole mountain shook greatly. The trumpet sound got louder and louder, *** Exodus 19:18-19. Fear came upon the people and the people fled before the face of God, and told Moses they did not want God to speak audibly to them again. They desired Moses to be in the presence of God, not them, and they would do as Moses told them. This same syndrome is in the church today. Man is content to listen to the man in the pulpit and have him tell them what to do, rather than seek God on their own.

Everyone is looking for that perfect human being to follow. Some find it in the pope, others in gurus, others in big name Christian stars as they are sometimes called. Those who are caught up in this fantasy should heed the words in Hebrews:

Heaven is the Spiritual realm, and God is speaking to us today by His Spirit. His Spirit is in constant communication with the spirit of man. Many cannot hear His still, small voice in their spirit because they are too busy with all the worldly diversions. They have no quiet time for their God. Their time in the Word has been replaced by financial reports, trying to balance their check books, watching their favorite sports teams, or their bowling team needs them. These, and a hundred other diversions, have robbed them of valuable time in God's presence in His Word. The Apostle Paul wrote to the Thessalonians about those who obey not the gospel:

We need to ask ourselves, "Who did the Holy Spirit declare God would take vengeance on with flaming fire?"

1 Those who know not God
2 Those who obey not the gospel

It goes without saying those in the world do not know God, but unfortunately, many who are called by Christ's name have no idea who their God is, nor do they know how to serve Him. They are His "in name only". God revealed the modern, organized church system to the prophet Jeremiah:

God's people have become wise to do evil because everything they see, hear, and do is involved in violence. These have forgotten the admonition of the Apostle Paul:

God's people are to be simple concerning evil. The word simple means "innocent, harmless, unmixed, and pure concerning evil". These so-called Christians who know not God are like the Pharisees in Jesus' time. Jesus warned them:

Jesus calls them "hypocrites", play actors. These hypocrites wash their face, put on their suit, shine their shoes, and make sure their shirts are cleaned and pressed. They clean the outside to look good and acceptable in the sight of men, but God looks upon their hearts. What does God see? A vessel that is full of extortion (deceitfulness) and excess? The word excess means "no self control". If it feels good, do it!. Jesus warned that His flaming fire of judgment would come upon those who know not their God.

The second group God promised He would pour out His fiery judgment upon are those who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These are those who are disobedient to His written Word and His spoken Word. Those who teach the Rapture should study God's Word and warn the people of God's wrath coming upon the earth, instead of fostering a false hope for those who know not their God and obey not His gospel. Paul wrote of these who know not God and obey not the gospel:

The gospel is hid to the lost because they spend little or no time in the Word. All they know is what they have been taught. They have not sought God on their own. They go along believing the lie that they are all right because they go to church or belong to this or that denomination. The god of this world has blinded their eyes. The glorious gospel of Christ has not been allowed to shine in their lives to expose their extortion and excess.

Paul related, "God will come in flaming fire to take vengeance...". The word vengeance means "revenge and punishment". Paul declared what those who know not God or obeyed not His gospel could expect:

Those who refuse the glorious gospel of truth to shine into their lives will be punished with everlasting destruction for all eternity from the presence of the Lord. Today many would have us believe there is no judgment of God, and all will be saved, including satan himself. These are as deluded as the teachers of the Rapture. There is a judgment and all those who know not God and obey not the gospel will be punished with everlasting destruction.

The word everlasting means "without beginning, without end, never to cease". The same word was translated forty-two times as eternal. Those who teach no judgment, and that all are destined to be saved should be asked to explain who Paul was speaking of in *** II Thessalonians 1:8-9. Some teach everlasting is only for a period of time. If these speak the truth, then ETERNAL LIFE is also just for a time. We need to take the Word of God for what it says, and not listen to the false prophets and teachers who put forth an easy religion.

Many proclaim with their mouths, "All I want to be is a child of the King." A king is one who rules over a kingdom. Jesus gave us revelation of the times ahead when speaking to the centurion:

Jesus was relating the time when many would come from the east and the west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom. Jesus stated, "...but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out...". Children are those who never come to maturity. Children are those who have never allowed the Holy Spirit to change them into Christ's image. Children are those who have not committed themselves to the gospel and its teachings. Children are those who refuse to walk in the glorious gospel God shed forth in their lives. Instead they desire to remain children of the King. Children desire to be told what to do and what to think. Children desire to live the way they are told, submitting themselves to the precepts and doctrines of men. Jesus warned these children will be cast into outer darkness. Outer darkness is eternal separation from the presence of God. John, the Beloved, revealed:

God is light. Jesus declared Himself to be the light of the world. We are admonished to be children of light. Those who are cast into outer darkness are children of the night. They have refused to walk in the light of the glorious gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Adam and Eve were the first children of God to be cast out into outer darkness. They were no longer allowed to walk in God's presence. It is written, "...God walked with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day...". But disobedience and rebellion against His Word, caused Adam and Eve to be cast into outer darkness from the presence of His glorious light.

Jesus revealed there would be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. The church system has always relegated this to those being cast into hell. As understanding comes into God's Word, we realize Jesus was not speaking of the misery and suffering that will come upon those who are cast into the eternal lake of fire. The weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth are the cries of those who are to suffer the wrath of God.

Many believe as long as they remain children, they are in a protected place with God, knowing nothing and accepting no responsibility for their walk in God. These who want to remain children should remember God is not going to turn His Kingdom over to a bunch of children who need to be wet-nursed, and have every decision made for them; nor is God going to turn His Kingdom over to servants. Paul wrote to the churches at Galatia:

Those who remain children remain under tutors and governors until they mature. Those who remain children will come to maturity in the time of the Lord's wrath. Luke went into great detail to reveal to us the time when there will be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The word strait means "close or narrow". Our walk with our God must be a close walk in His Word. Many believe they have the keys of entering in. Through the pen of Luke Jesus revealed why these will not enter in.

When those who have obeyed not the gospel knock desiring entrance, His answer will be, "I know you not!". These never had a personal relationship with their God. They depended on their religious system to grant them entrance. They depended on their good works, their attendance record, their record of giving to allow them entrance into the Kingdom of God.

These will proclaim, "We have eaten and drank in Your presence. We have taken Your communion. You have taught in our streets." Those who have refused God's anointed Word will not gain entrance into God's kingdom. Jesus will say to these, "Depart from Me, ye workers of iniquity."

The word iniquity means "unrighteousness of heart and life". The word translated iniquity was translated sixteen times as unrighteousness, and only six times as iniquity. Jesus was declaring these were workers of unrighteousness. Luke continued with his recording of Jesus' Words:

Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees, but that same religious spirit is still in the organized church of today. Many remain children, ever learning, yet never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, *** II Timothy 3:7. As Jesus revealed through Matthew, "...the children of the Kingdom shall be cast into outer darkness (the wrath of God)...". This is the time of weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. At this time those who have depended on their religion to take them to heaven are going to realize they have missed the Kingdom of God. These must be purified in the wrath.

When Jesus gave the parable of the wheat and the tares, He spoke of the tares being bundled and burned at the end of the age, *** Matthew 13:40. Then Jesus continued His revelation of the harvest:

God is going to gather all things that offend out of His Kingdom and cast them into the furnace of fire. The furnace of fire is the cleansing fire of the wrath of God. The cleansing fire of God will cleanse His earth before He sets up His Kingdom in His people. The works of those who obey not the gospel are wood, hay, and stubble. When their works are cast into the furnace of fire, their works will be destroyed. Paul proclaimed they would suffer loss, but they shall be saved, yet so as by fire, *** I Corinthians 3:15.

Yes, those who have the works of unrighteousness controlling their lives, will suffer loss. There will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. When all unrighteousness has been burned away in the fire of the wrath, then righteousness shall shine forth in this people.

The Bible is very clear. It is the wicked and the unrighteousness that are removed first. Then the righteous will shine forth. The Rapture teachers would have us believe it is the righteous who are removed and taken somewhere. The question is simple, "How can the righteous shine forth if they have been removed?" No false teaching will stand up in the Word.

Matthew recorded Jesus' words about the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and those who would be cast out of His presence:

What are our wedding garments? Jesus revealed our wedding garments to John on the Isle of Patmos:

Our wedding garments are to be pure and white. These are our robes of righteousness. We cannot stand before God in our own self-righteousness which is as filthy rags in the eyes of God. We must be clothed in God's righteousness. Our garments must be of the finest linen, cleaner than any fuller's soap can make them. Jesus declared what would happen to those who did not have on their wedding garment:

Those who are invited to the wedding better be sure their wedding garments are unspotted when the Father comes in to view His guests. Jesus spoke of others who would suffer His wrath:

Today, multitudes in the church are proclaiming Jesus second coming, but there has been no change in their lives. They live as if their way of life is going to go on forever. They smite their fellowservants, maybe not with a stick or a club, but with their mouths which is more deadly than any stick, club, knife, or gun. Many have been mortally wounded in their spirit by the mouth of their brothers and sisters.

Jesus spoke the Lord's return would be in an hour they are not aware of. The hour of the Lord's return will be in their unpreparedness. Jesus reveals what will happen to them:

Those who are unprepared will have their portion with the hypocrites, the play actors. Their portions will be the wrath of God where there will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth.

Jesus revealed one more group who will suffer God's wrath, and that is the unprofitable servant. Jesus spoke of the Lord giving talents unto His servants. To one He gave five. That servant earned five other talents during His Lord's absence. The Lord declared his reward:

Because this servant was faithful over a few things, he entered into the ruling and reigning realm of God's kingdom. The same was true of the one who was given two talents. His reward was the same. The one who was given one talent, said:

This unprofitable servant operated his life in fear. He hid his talent in the earth, (his earth). He never used His God-given talent for anything except to please the flesh. His talent never grew. The Lord's reply to this unprofitable servant was:

Those who refuse to use their God-given talents for anything except the gratification of the flesh will be cast into outer darkness from the presence of the Lord to suffer His wrath.

This is not a popular message in the modern church. Whenever wrath, suffering, and change is taught, the people begin to look for another church. So the message in the church goes back to, "God loves you and accepts you as you are". No matter what is taught, the Word of God stands sure. In the words of Jesus:

Jesus was speaking to those who know God's will. When we know God's will we need to prepare our lives and take time with God. We must become what God has ordained us to be, or we shall be beaten with many stripes. This is not an easy message, nor did God intend our walk to be easy. It only becomes easy when we die to ourselves, our self-desire and our self-rule and allow God to have His perfect will in the life He has given us.

Many are taught they cannot lose their salvation. There are many who cannot lose their salvation because they have never come into God's plan of salvation. The writer of Hebrews informed us:

By God's Word, we can proclaim those who obey not the gospel are not part of His eternal plan of salvation. Those who obey not God's Word will have no excuse when they stand before His throne. They can only declare that other things in their lives was more important than the Word of God. Too many get what they believe from the pulpit, a cassette tape, or a video instead of going to the Word and finding out the truth for themselves. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth:

Paul declared, "It is a shame..." if God's people know not the gospel of God. God has given us His Word and the Holy Spirit to bring us unto all truth. What will be our excuse when we stand before God. Paul wrote to the church at Rome:

God's creation is His witness. How can anyone look at a rose, a tree, a cloud, a mountain and doubt there is a Creator. Everywhere we look we see the hand and the works of God. Paul declared that when God's people stand before Him, they will have no excuse. Many use the excuse, "I don't understand the Bible when I read it." Those who do not understand need to:

When God witnesses our desire to grow in His Word, He will give us more understanding. As we continue to search the scriptures, He will show us areas we need to change so we can accomplish His purpose in our life. Are you truly willing to allow the Word of God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness and change you daily into the new creation man? Paul declared to the church at Corinth:

If the gospel be hid, it is hidden to those who are lost. God is not going to reveal Himself to those who do not seek Him with their whole heart through His Word. God is not going to reveal Himself to those who do not have a heart to change and obey the gospel.

God's Word is sure and His plan for mankind has never changed, nor will it change. If our desire is to walk with God, then we must follow Him in the same direction He is going. He is not going to change His direction to walk with us. Hear Jesus' Words:

If we are to follow Jesus, we must walk in His steps. We must become the example of the life He lived while He walked upon the earth. Jesus stated:

When our testimony is, "I have kept thy Word", then we will have come into complete obedience to the Word of God. The life Jesus lived will become our life. Our only desire will be to please the Father. Then, and only then, can we have life and have it more abundantly; not as the world considers abundance, but an abundance of the life of God.
