Refreshment From The Lord

Drinking, drinking, drinking,
I am drinking living waters.
It is a time of refreshing from the Lord.

Waves are sweeping, gently sweeping over me.
Your gentle flowing breezes,
Oh yes, Your gentle flowing breezes,
I feel Your gentle flowing breezes o'er my soul.

In the morning will I praise thee,
At the start of each new day.
I will lift my voice to praise your wondrous ways.

You have given me life eternal,
Your Spirit dwells within me.
I have this living water,
It is deep, deep, deep inside me.

Thank you, Holy Spirit,
Your waves of refreshing
Are totally covering me.

I feel your presence gently sweeping over me.
This is a precious time of resting and renewing.

When my walk grows hard and weary,
And the outlook is only dreary;
Yet you dwell continually within me,
Imparting strength and help and comfort.

Every step becomes a climbing journey;
Stepping, slowly climbing, into total obedience to Your will.
