Before There Was Time

Before there was time,
	You were there

Your beauty was what My heart centered on.
	But alas, you desired more.

Yes, you were there
	with me from the start
I never thought
	you would from Me depart.

I agreed to send you to earth
	to the home of your choice
	At first you loved Me
		But eventually you  
		no longer centered on hearing My voice.

Come back!  Come back! 
	The heavens of heavens miss your sweet smile

Come home, my love
	And once again be 
	My sweet turtle dove.

Come and see
	What all I have prepared just for thee.

I knew Thy goings forth from the beginning.
	I know, too, the songs you have sung, and are singing
	Won't you return to My loving arms
	I wish only to keep you from this world's illusive harms.

Precious pearls and radiant rubies
	You were My set beauties
	You left Me, then
	Return to Me, now
	Do all those things only I allow
	Become that pearl of great price
	Forsake all things that forever entice.

You have always loved Me, this I know
	But you have also desired more ...  Why I do not know?
	When My only desire was to give you more of Myself.
	Return My love, to your fist love

My love, I know your spirit is crying out
	Your inner spirit desires to shout
	I am your's Lord, nothing of me
	Only you, Holy Spirit, for others to see.

Take my tongue, my singing, my every thought
	Make them purely whole
	Not buried deep in this earthen hole.

My will I lay at your feet.
	I humbly bow at your Mercy Seat.
	Bring me home to your house
	That I might go forth in victory
	To those yet to return to their former history

	Forever with you Lord
	My original beginning.
