I Can!

Lord can You take a broken vessel,
that life has dealt a blow.
Can You mend it in Your mercy,
that Your Love forever show.

Can You pick up all the pieces,
like a puzzle come undone.
Can You wash them in pure water,
and lay them in the sun.

I Can take a broken vessel,
that life has dealt a blow,
I Can mend it in My mercy,
that My Love forever show.

I Can pick up all the pieces,
like a puzzle come undone,
I Can wash them in pure water,
and lay them in My Son.

I Can put back all the pieces,
in the order they must go,
I Can place them in My furnace,
till no mar within them show.

As My fire of Love is heated,
and the pieces they do hold,
Not one whit more heat is needed,
when My vessel turns to gold.
