Spirit of Man

You are the One
That gave me sight,
The spark to my candle
That touched me with light.

Searching me inward
Exploring all spaces,
Chasing the darkness
From empty places.

Redeeming the chambers
Once filled with shame,
That would lay in darkness
Were it not for Jesus' name.

There's still much to do
Tho' I'm better than before.
Things lost along the way
You alone will restore.

Blow, oh wind of heaven,
Keep my candle burning bright,
Search me deep, and search me wide,
Leave nothing hidden from the Light.
