Victory Your Way

We were not created by our Heavenly Father
To walk through this world in defeat,

But more often than not, in battle with the enemy
We cannot compete.

Why is that, Lord, that a loosing battle we
Seem to fight? When You Father, have
Filled us with Your power and might?

Filled with Your Glory, Your Kingdom within,
That makes for a battle that we should win.

We are earthen vessels You fashioned from clay;
Not of stone nor iron, that was not Your way.

We were made to be broken from the very start,
The Lion and the Lamb free to carry Your heart.

His vessel was broken as He hung on the Cross,
Three day's in the grave? up brought victory, not loss!

So do what You must to my vessel of clay;
I am weary of defeat,

I choose victory Your way.
