Hard Places

Help me stand strong,
When I am in a hard place,
When your voice has gone quiet
And I can't see your face.

Don't let me loose hope,
For you dwell in the darkness.
And there's a lesson to be learned
In the face of starkness.

Teach me your ways
No matter where I stand.
If darkness brings light
I will rest in your hand.

For your light is my life
Though it's hard to see now.
I am learning from the Master,
There comes strength
When I bow.

One day we will laugh;
There will be joy on our faces,
For I learned from the best

How to stand....
In hard places.
