Early Will I Seek Thee

Early will I seek Thee;
I won't wait `til far spent day.
When I rise I'll kneel before You,
And I'll bow my head to pray.

I will ask Lord that You lead me,
That I sense Your presence near
Though we travel hills or valleys
Sharing laughter or a tear.

Just Your shield of strength around me
Quiets the wars within my soul,
Not to mention what's outside the door
Or what the day will dole.

Always will You be there
If I seek You early on.
When I set my heart upon You,
You will be there till the dawn.

And when I rise.....
