The next step after you come to Jesus Christ and repent from your sins
is to be baptised.
God had Peter record our need for baptism in the book of Acts:
"But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:"
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. . ." Acts 2:14 & 38
What does
it mean to be baptised?
To be baptised is to be cleansed by dipping or submerging in water to wash away the old man of sin and make us clean.
