Abraham held two unique positions in the Word that no other man held: # 1 Abraham was called the "Friend of God". "And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God." *** James 2:23 # 2 Abraham was called the "Father of Faith". "By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went." *** Hebrews 11:8 Abraham was one of the first men in the Bible that was called on by God to operate in faith. "By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son", *** Hebrews 11:7 In his letter to the Romans, Paul spoke of the faith of Abraham, "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all." *** Romans 4:16 Paul recorded that Abraham was the father of us all. Those of the household of faith are Abraham's seed. Also those under the law are Abraham's seed. Abraham is the father of all. Two promises were given to Abraham concerning his seed: one spoke of the "star seed" and the other of the "sand seed". THE STAR SEED "And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;" *** Gen 26:4 Abraham's first promise was of the "star seed". In this seed all nations on the earth would be blessed. THE SAND SEED Abraham's second promise was "And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude." *** Gen 32:12 This was the promise of the seed that would become the multitudes. The "star seed" is the seed of promise. The "star seed" brought forth by and through the Spirit. The "sand seed" is the seed of the flesh. Paul tells us in Corinthians, "Howbeit that was not first which is Spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is Spiritual." *** I Corinthians 15:46 The word natural is PSUCHIKOS and means "pertaining to the soul". This is speaking of sensual, soulish, carnal man. After the natural, or the flesh realm, there is the Spiritual. The first son born to Abraham was the "sand seed", Ishmael, which was brought forth after the flesh. God had promised Abraham a seed that would inherit, but Abraham at the urging of Sarah, took Hagar, Sarah's Egyptian maid and conceived Ishmael. Like so many today, Abraham could not wait on God to produce His promise in them. They try to work out God's promises in the flesh. Hagar's names means "ensnarer of the sojourners. Hagar was an Egyptian. Egypt represents the world. Today many Hagars are ensnaring God's sojourners in the earth. They are bringing forth the Ishmael seed, the "sand seed". Ishmael means "God will hear". Even though Ishmael was not the promised seed, Abraham still loved him. Abraham never turned his back on Ishmael, even when the promised "star seed" came forth. When Hagar fled from Sarah, being chastised because she had raised herself up against her mistress, God told Hagar the kind of man she was carrying in her womb. "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren." *** Gen 16:12 The word wild means "to run wild, or a wild ass". A wild ass runs free with no controls in its life. The wild ass only serves self. He has no emotions, other then if it feels good, do it. God told Hagar that every man's hand would be against him, and that he would dwell in the presence of his brethren. There would be no separation at this time between the "star seed" and the "sand seed". When Jesus gave the parable of the wheat and the tares he said, "Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." *** mat 13:30 There would be no separation between the wheat, (the star seed), and the tares (the sand seed) until the harvest. Ishmael was not the only "sand seed" conceived by Abraham. After the death of Sarah, Abraham married Keturah. Keturah would bear Abraham six more sons, and her sons also became part of the "sand seed". "And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan,, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah." *** Gen 25:2 Keturah bare Abraham six sons. This totaled seven sons which Abraham conceived in the flesh. These seven sons in turn produced the "multitude of sand seed" in the earth. Through these seven sons, the sand seed would be spread throughout the whole earth. These seven sons would become the wild men (brute beasts) in the earth, those who never brought the old, wild ass nature under the hand of the creating God, but would run free, serving the flesh, and the gods of this world, being blown about by every wind of doctrine. Jude proclaims, "But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves." *** Jude 10 Those who are clothed upon with the "beast nature" are as Adam and Eve in the garden, who had to be clothed upon with the fleshly, beastly coverings because the Spiritual covering had departed. The "sand seed" is the multitude that was promised Abraham. But, God also promised Abraham a promised seed that would be as the "stars" of heaven. As soon as the promised seed was born, problems began between the "sand seed" and the "star seed". Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian which she had born, mocking Isaac. "Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham's sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called." *** Gen 21:9-12 Through Isaac alone would come the promised "star seed". Ishmael, the "sand seed" will not inherit with Isaac, the "star seed". Abraham's seed is through Isaac alone. This enables us to understand what the Lord is revealing through the relationship between Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Abraham is a type of the "Father" Isaac is a type of the "Son" Jacob is a type of the "Supplanter", one who takes the place of another. In Abraham, we see God, the Father In Isaac, we see Jesus, as the Son of God In Jacob, we see the Holy Spirit, the one who takes the place of another. Jesus foretold the coming of the Holy Spirit when He spoke to his disciples, "But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me:" *** John 15:26 The Holy Spirit, the Comforter has come in Jesus' place. It is the Holy Spirit who testifies of Jesus in our lives. Without the Holy Spirit, we can only testify of our religious beliefs, not the words of life that come only from the Father. God revealed unto Abraham that the promised "star seed" would be called through Isaac. This calling comes through Jesus, the Son. Jesus, the Son, spoke through the pen of John, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." *** John 6:44 Our call comes from the Son, the preaching of Jesus. Our drawing comes through the Father. Our completion comes through the Holy Spirit. The "star seed" is the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham that his seed would be as the stars of heaven. Heaven is the spiritual realm. Those brought forth through Jesus the Son and to the Holy Spirit for completeness will become as the stars of the Spiritual realm. The promise made to Abraham has carried down through the ages. The sand seed promised to Abraham has multiplied as the sands of the seashore through Ishmael and the sons of Keturah. The star seed brought forth through Isaac fulfilled the promise of a blessing for the whole earth which came by Jesus throught the Holy Spirit. In Isaac we also see the "sand seed" and the "star seed". Isaac had twin sons, Jacob and Esau. Even though Esau was the eldest and rightful heir to the birthright of the father, he gave it all away for a bowl of beans. Natural Israel, being the firstborn, had the birthright of the Father. But because they rejected Jesus, the Son, they were rejected and lost their birthright. They gave it all away to partake of vain religious traditions. Peter told them, "But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; "And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses." *** Acts 3:14-15 Natural Israel rejected their birthright in God. Peter was first to offer the birthright to the Gentiles. Peter was directed by the Holy Spirit to go to Caesarea to Cornelius, a centurion, of the Italian band. Peter preached Jesus to them, and "While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost." *** Acts 10:44-45 The promise made to Abraham concerning the star seed had come to the Gentiles. When it came time for Esau to receive the blessing of the Father, it was given to Jacob, the supplanter, the one who has taken the place of another. The writer of Hebrews tells what befell Esau, "For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears." *** Hebrews 12:17 It was God who rejected Esau. Esau could not receive the blessing because he had no birthright. The only blessing Esau received from the father was "And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;" *** Gen 27:38-39 Esau was blessed with the fatness of the earth. His would be an earthly existence, the "sand seed". He would never dwell in the place of inheritance, the Spiritual "star seed" realm of God. Esau only received the dew from heaven. The dew only covers the earth. It has no further use. Through Jacob came the "star seed". Jacob's name was changed to Israel, (those who reign with God). Again, we seed the two seeds, the sand seed and the star seed brought forth in Jacob's two wives. Jacob labored for seven years to obtain Rachel, but he received Leah instead. Then he received Rachel on the promise to labor for another seven years for Laban. The first wife, he worked for (law). The second, he received as promised (grace). It is recorded that, "Leah was tender eyed; but Rachel was beautiful and well favoured." *** Gen 29:17 Leah was weak-eyed. She represents those who have no vision in God. There is no vision under the law. The Word records, "By the works of the law shall no flesh be justified," *** Gal 2:16. Those who have no vision, and exist under the law; either the law of Moses or the law of man through their religious affiliations, are as the "sand of the sea". The "star seed" would come through Rachel. Rachel means "ewe lamb". Rachel represents the true church of God in the earth today. Rachel did not bare children until after Leah and the two concubines had brought forth ten sons for Jacob. Ten is the number of completion. The "sand seed" would be complete before the "star seed" would be brought forth. Rachel brought forth two sons. Joseph, which means "another son is coming", and Benjamin, "the son of his right hand". Joseph is a type of Jesus. Jesus was the firstfruit of many sons. These sons of promise will be the sons of His right hand. Jacob brought forth the "sand seed" and the "star seed". We see characteristics of these two seeds very clearly in the Word. The "sand seed" produces the works of the flesh. The "star seed" produce the fruit of the Spirit. Paul recorded the works of the "sand seed", "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." *** Gal 5:19-21 Those who do the works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God. Only the star seed will inherit. ISHMAEL These works of the flesh are shown in the seven sons of Abraham. Abraham's first son was Ishmael. He was a wild man and his hand was against every man and every man's hand was against him. He possessed none of the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. Ishmael can only produce the works of the flesh which produce wars and rumors of war. He is set against every man, and every man's hand is set against him. The Ishmaelites are opposed to all that God teaches and represents. The Ishmaelites are clothed upon with the beast nature. Their minds are carnal, as Paul wrote to the Romans "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be." *** Romans 8:7 The Ishmaelites are not subject to the law of God. They on do the things that please the flesh. ZIMRAN Abraham's first son by Keturah was Zimran. His name means "musician". In the beginning God created music to be a comfort and a joy to those who hear it. God provided the Psalms to be sung as a sweet savour. Paul wrote to the Ephesians, "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;" *** Ephesians 5:19 But satan has taken that which God made beautiful and has perverted it to where there is no music to it. There is only a beat and indistinguishable words. This began in the 'sixties, as rock & roll. Not it is called punk rock, acid rock, heavy metal and various other names. This has become the music of the sand seed. This music is sensual, devilish and perverts the mind of the children. Many times those who believe they are the star seed allow their children to listen to this tool of satan which perverts, distorts and divides the star seed. Many churches have allowed this perversion to enter into their worship services. This is called "christian rock". There is no such thing as christian rock. If it does not lift the spirit and soothe the soul, then it is ministering to the flesh; and the flesh is enmity against God, *** Romans 8:7. Satan uses music to pervert. God uses music for praise and worship. The star seed can be a musician for the Lord, or be perverted by the music of the sand seed. JOKSHAN Abraham's second son by Keturah was Jokshan. Jokshan means "snarer". We have all heard the expression about the snares of the devil. We need to understand that satan's ways work to ensnare the star seed. In the garden, satan used the allurement of the world to entice Eve to do that which she knew God would judge. John wrote, "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world." *** I John 2:16 1 - Eve was first tempted by the lust of the eye. "The woman saw the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes," *** Gen 3:6 2 - Eve was then tempted by the lust of the flesh; "a tree to be desired", *** Gen 3:6 3 - Eve was then tempted by the pride of life to make one wise, *** Gen 3:6. Satan knew exactly how to deal with the human nature. His ways have never changed. When Eve partook of the fruit, she gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat, *** Gen 3:6. Satan has used the opposite sex, both male and female, to tempt the flesh. The oldest profession known to man is prostitution. This lures the head of the home into adultery which destroys the home. And it is still working today, only man does not have to go to the house of ill-repute to be deceived. He can do this in his own home through the use of television. Paul warned, "Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices". *** II Corinthians 2:11 Those of the star seed are not ignorant of satan's devices, but many times the star seed is snared by the wiles of the devil because they have not put on the whole armour of God, *** Ephesians 6. MEDAN Abraham's third son by Keturah was Medan. Medan means "strife". Strife is one of the works of the flesh. As we study the word, we understand that strife has operated in man to cause separation from the beginning. It was strife that caused the herdsmen of Abraham and Lot to be separated, *** Gen 13:7. The word strife means "to dispute, quarrel, debate and wrangling. The wise man Solomon had much to say about strife. "A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife." *** Pro 15:18 The wrathful (Ishmaelites and Medans) will always stir up strife. This is a characteristic of the sand seed. The star seed is slow to anger and appeaseth strife. "A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends." *** Pro 16:28 The word froward means "perverse". Perverse means "distorted from the right, or doing right". Those who are distorted from the right way will always cause strife. "He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat." *** Pro 28:25 He that is proud of heart, or those who have not forsaken the pride of life will stir up strife. Solomon was speaking of the sand seed. The star seed puts their trust in the Lord. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth, "For ye are yet carnal: for where as there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?" *** I Corinthians 3:3 Paul reminded the Corinthians that because there was envying, strife and division, they were yet carnal. Yet we see envying, strife and division in the church today, and they think they are Spiritual. How deceived they are. They think themselves to be the star seed, when they have all the trappings of the sand seed. James wrote, "For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work." *** James 3:16 All these evil works are not dealt with for fear it will cost membership. How carnal they have become. MIDIAN Abraham's fourth son by Keturah was Midian. Midian means "contentious". Although strife and contention are similar, they are different in the fact that contention means "to provoke or to incite, to cause irritation". Contention comes when one desires to put self forward. Solomon wrote, "Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom." *** Pro 13:10 Only by pride cometh contention. Again it is the pride of life, or the works of the flesh that causes contention. This is evident in the sand seed life. But with the star seed is wisdom. Paul wrote, "But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God." *** I Corinthians 1:24 Those who are called of God, who have received Christ, the Holy Spirit will obtain not only power, but the wisdom of God. Wisdom only comes through Christ the Holy Spirit. "A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes." *** Proverbs 18:6 The fool's lips... Who are the fools" Those who say no God, *** Psalm 14:1. The fool's lips enter into contention. Those who say no to God will be judged by the words of their mouths. Their mouths call for many stripes or much correction. "Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease." *** Pro 22:10 We are commanded to cast out the scorner and contention will leave with him, or her. Certainly contention is no stranger in the church today. Contention was evident in the early church also. The church was very young when Paul and Barnabas had problems. What was their problem? "And the contention was so sharp between them that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;" *** Acts 15:39 Contention rose up between brothers which caused strife which caused division. So many times contention is not dealt with, and the star seed acts more like the sand seed. This does not bring glory to the Father. Paul wrote to Timothy, "But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain." *** Titus 3:9 We are to avoid those things in our lives that bring separation. The list includes foolish questions, genealogies, contentions and striving about the law. Yet these are very evident in the church today. May God help us to cast out the Midian spirit and begin to serve the living God with our whole hearts. ISHBAK Abraham's fifth son by Keturah was ISHBAK. Ishbak means "he will leave alone". Ishbak reveals the separation between the sand seed and the star seed when we come into the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Those who remain sand seed will separate themselves from the star seed. Jesus stated, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." *** Mat 10:34 Jesus came to bring a sword, and that sword is the sword of the Spirit. When the sword of the Spirit begins to do its work in our lives, it brings separation. The writer of Hebrews proclaimed, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." *** Hebrews 4:12 When the sword of the Spirit begins to divide the soul and the spirit, and our thought processes begin to change, then our speech changes and our way of life changes. Because of this change, separation takes place. The sand seed begins to seek new relationships. They no longer come around, and when we see them, the visits get shorter and shorter. This will also happen in our own household. Jesus went on to say, "For I am come to set at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." ** Mat 10:35-36 The early church was made up of those who had left the Jewish religion. They were totally ostrisized from any family activity. They were considered dead. Today when we begin to walk in the light, the sand seed of our own families will become our enemy. Luke recorded Jesus' words, "For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three." *** Luke 12:52 When the sword of the Spirit begins to do its work in our lives, the sand seed will not only separate, it will become our enemy. Jesus knew this from the beginning. He stated, "Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets." *** Luke 6:22-23 When separation comes, we are to consider ourselves blessed. We are to rejoice and leap for joy because we know when separation comes, the sword of the Spirit is doing its work in our lives. Unfortunately, there is much division in the church today. One denomination will not speak to another denomination. Or many times, the same denomination will not speak to one another. Paul asked the Corinthians, "Is Christ divided?" *** I Corinthians 1:13. If you are serving a divided Christ, then the kingdom you are involved in cannot stand. Jesus stated, "And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand." *** Mark 3:24-25 If your house is divided, it cannot stand. This is speaking of the house where we live, and the house where we worship. All houses built on the sand (flesh) will fall, and great will be the fall thereof. Only the star seed who build their house on the rock will stand in the days ahead. If you are holding on to sand and sand seed relationships, it will come to naught. Only the undivided house of Christ will endure. We need to cast the Ishbak's out of our lives. SHUA Abraham's sixth son by Keturah was Shua. Shua means "wealth and opulence". Opulence means "having abundance and being affluent". Opulence serves self and is self-centered and self- motivated. Shua was the last of Abraham's sand seed sons. Wealth, opulence and affluence are the marks of the sand seed mentality. It is God who gives the power to get wealth. When Israel was about to enter Israel their promise land, God spoke to Moses that when the people said in their hearts, "My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth." *** Deuteronomy 8:17 Moses reminded them, "But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth," *** Deuteronomy 8:18 Why did God give power to get wealth? "That He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." *** Deuteronomy 8:18 The sand seed refuses to establish God's covenant in the earth. In fact their wealth is contributed to the works of their hands. It is the star see who will re-establish God's covenant in the earth, with the wealth that God will supply through the sand seed. Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes, "For God giveth to a man that is good in His sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner He giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God." *** Ecclesiastes 2:26 Travail is given to the sand seed that he may gather and heap up treasure to give to the star seed, so that the star seed may establish God's covenant in the earth. It is not wealth, riches or money that are evil. It is when people make wealth their god, their security and their assurance, that it becomes evil in their lives. Paul wrote to Timothy, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." *** I Tim 6:10 The love of money is at the root of all evil. It is because of this love for money that man sells his birthright in God and settles to be sand seed, instead of lifting his eyes from the wealth of this world, and stay their eyes on the riches of God. Jesus told us, "Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:" *** Mat 6:19 Our treasures should be laid up in the Spiritual realm (heaven), not the earth realm (flesh). Jesus drove the money changers from the temple. We are the temple of the living God, and this money changer spirit must be driven from us if we are to be the star seed, the seed of promise; Abraham, the Friend of God, and the Father of Faith. James wrote, "Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth eaten. Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days." *** James 5:1-3 Those who are laying up treasures for the last days are only laying up a witness against themselves. The Robes of Righteousness are motheaten or full of holes. Their gold and silver is cankered and rusty. Cankered and rust means that it will corrode away; or their value will diminish to nothing. The sand seed wealth will come to naught become of the works of their hands. The prophet Isaiah wrote, "For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin." *** Isa 31:7 The works of their hands have become sin in their lives. They have missed the high calling of God in Christ Jesus, and remain the sand seed promise made to Abraham. Abraham was promised the star seed. The star seed are those who are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus, *** Ephesians 2:6. These are those who are seated in the heavenlies (Spiritual realm). They have chosen not dwell in the dust of the earth (flesh realm). The New Testament tells of this star seed that was promised to Abraham. "Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, in Isaac shall thy seed be called." *** Romans 9:7 The sand seed are children of Abraham but they are not counted as the promised seed. The promise seed will come only through Isaac. Paul went on to say, "That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed." *** Romans 9:8 The children of the flesh (sand seed) are not the children of God. Only through Isaac will the promise seed (star seed) be counted. To see the picture that God has painted for us, we begin at Mat 1:1, "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham." *** Matthew 1:1 Jesus was the son of Abraham. Jesus was the promised son in the old testament, *** Isa 9:6. Paul wrote that Abraham had one seed, "Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." *** Gal 3:16 The one seed that Abraham was to bring forth was Christ, the Holy Spirit, the anointing, and the anointed ones. It is in this seed, Christ, that draws us to the life of Jesus, our example. In Jesus own words, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." *** John 6:44 The word draw means "to compel by supernatural force or power". It is by the Holy Spirit which is the Father, that we are chosen or compelled to become part of His eternal body that God will raise up the last day. The last day is the 1000 year day, or the millennium. Those who do not come by way of the Spirit, through Jesus, are not part of the star seed. Those who are trying to please God through fleshly activities are participating with the sand seed. They have not come by the way of Christ. In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul elaborates on the sand seed and the star seed, "There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another." *** I Corinthians 15:40 Celestial bodies are heavenly (star seed) bodies. Terrestrial bodies are earthly (sand seed) bodies. Paul went on to relate, "And as we have borne the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly." *** I Corinthians 15:49 We still have our terrestrial bodies, but the star seed is the promised change. "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." *** I Corinthians 15:50 Flesh and blood will not inherit. There is no inheritance for the sand seed. "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." *** I Corinthians 15:51-52 Jesus told of a generation that will not pass away (die), *** Mat 24:34. "Verily, I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled." *** Mat 24:34 Paul spoke of the change that is coming in the star seed. "For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory." *** I Corinthians 15:53-54 Corruption (that which will decay) must put on incorruption (that which will not decay), and this mortal (that which will die) must put on immortality (that which will not die). Then death will be swallowed up, and the eternal Christ life in us will have overcome, or replaced the mortality that we now have in this tabernacle. This fulfills the words of Isaiah, "He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it." *** Isa 25:8 Many teachers use I Corinthians 15 to teach a so-called rapture. But it is easy to see this change comes in a people, not in their location. God is changing us, not our address. "O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?" *** I Corinthians 15:55 The sand seed is seeking the wealth of this world and the things of this life. But God's promise through Moses says "Remember the Lord thy God" for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." *** Deuteronomy 8:18 God has promised wealth to His people so that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto our fathers. That eternal covenant was that He would give us power to once again come into the image and likeness of the Father. God sent Jesus His Son to show us the way that we could be like Christ. Paul wrote "To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" *** Col 1:27 It is Christ in us that is our only hope of glory. In Christ are all the riches of God. We obtain true wealth only because we have a right relationship with Christ. Our promise is not in some far off physical place called heaven. Our promise is in the here and now, as we come into a right standing with Christ. We must allow Christ to put us through the cleansing fires of change. The kingdom of God cometh without outward physical observation in our lives. It comes within. Then at the last trump a change will come in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, when we come into the image of the heavenly. The writer of Hebrews spoke of Jesus "For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham." *** Hebrews 2:16 Jesus took on Him the seed of Abraham. That seed is Christ, *** Gal 3:16. Jesus became the Christ to the Father. Paul wrote "If ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." *** Gal 3:19 (star seed) and to the Romans, Paul wrote, "Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His." *** Romans 8:9b (sand seed) If we are to be Abraham's seed, then we, too, must be Christ's, or the anointed of the Son. Then we come into His promise, and we, too, will establish God's covenant in the earth, our earth. The star seed is looking for the true riches in Christ, not the earthly treasures. The star seed have laid up their treasures in the heavenlies. Paul wrote, "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;" *** Col 2:2 The star seed will be knit together in love. And the world will know the star seed because of their love for one another. The star seed will find true riches through the full assurance of understanding and the acknowledgment of the mystery of the Father. True riches are in Christ, our hope of glory. Paul wrote to the Ephesians, "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." *** Ephesians 1:18 God gave us Jesus as our example that we may know what is the inheritance of the saints (star seed). "And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us- ward who believe, according to the working of His might power, Which He wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places," *** Ephesians 1:19-20 Paul asked the question, "What is the greatness of His power to us who believe according to the working of His might power?" This great mystery is that He seated Jesus on His own right hand in power in heavenly places (the Spiritual realm). And we, by following Jesus' example, may also be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!" *** Romans 11:33 The depths of his wisdom, knowledge and judgments are past finding out. But they are revealed to those who are walking in the Spirit. The flesh can have no understanding or wisdom in the things of God. Their's is a carnal, fleshly wisdom and understanding. God will establish His covenant that He made through Abraham in the promised star seed. God is not slack concerning His promises as some men count slackness, *** II Pet 3:9. The Psalmist writes, "Praise ye Him, sun and moon: Praise Him, all ye stars of light." *** Psalms 148:3 We can be those stars of light. Jesus showed us the way to become the lights of the world. The night is coming and the stars of light will shine in the darkened world. Begin today to establish your calling in the Father of lights. You can become that city set on a hill. In all that you do, bring glory to the Father. Allow your words to become that sweet savour unto Him. God has called His star seed, "This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord." *** Psalms 102:18 We are that chosen generation that God revealed unto Peter. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light:" *** I Pet 2:9 God is going to make an holy nation of the star seed He promised to Abraham. They are His royal priesthood who have been called out of darkness (sand seed) into His marvellous light. And these have become the stars of light that will rule and reign with Him for 1000 years. Those who seek Him with their whole heart and lift up their head will walk as the saints of light in God's new day. Jesus is the way and there is no other way to be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Questions 1. What were the two unique positions in the Word held by Abraham that no other man held?
