She Who Dwells Carelessly
The Scriptures speak much about this judgment on Babylon.
Ezekiel 38 & 39 foretell of Russia's attack on Israel and how Russia will be destroyed on the mountains of Israel.
"And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord." *** Ezekiel 39:6
The United States is the nation that dwells carelessly in the isles.
"Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:" Isaiah 47:8
Those who are dwelling carelessly are saying, "I am, and none else. I do not sit as a widow, and neither shall I know loss of children."
In Isaiah 47:5, the daughter of the Chaldeans (Babylon) is called the Lady of Kingdoms. When we put line upon line in the New Testament, we relate this to Revelation 18:7.
"How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow." *** Revelation 18:7
Is America's Judgment sure? Is there no hope?
