Hope for the Remnant
"And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the Lord of Hosts shall do this." *** Isaiah 37:31-32
The word remnant means "surviving after an elimination process"; those who escape out of the house of Judah (house of Praise) out of Jerusalem (double peace and true place of worship); also out of Mount Zion (sunny heights and the high place in God). The remnant, who shall escape, will be planted again in the earth. Those who are from the house of praise, in the true place of worship and have come into the high place in God and have survived the wrath of God will take root downward and bear fruit upward.
God has a people whom He will protect through the wrath. We read that those days will be as the days of Noah, *** Luke 17:26. As God protected Noah through His wrath of the water, so will He protect His "Called" through the fire.
God's plan for His people is not escapism, but protection. That protection is sure and complete. The Bible speaks much about a time of fleeing for God's people. Jesus told His disciples that when they were persecuted in one city, to flee to another; and before they had fled into all the cities of Israel; that the Son of man would come. Matthew 10:23. He went on to say, "The disciple is not above His master, nor the servant above His Lord." Matthew 10:24
A Place of Protection
God has foretold of a place of protection He has planned for His people during the 3 1/2 years of wrath that is coming upon the earth:
"And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days." *** Revelation 12:6
God will protect His people through the wrath, as Noah was protected during the flood, and as Lot was protected at the time of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities of the plain. As Noah and Lot, we must be ready to leave all and flee.
Those who hear the Father's voice and are obedient to His voice are those who have come into a close intimate relationship with God. These will be instructed by the Father's voice. There will be many who are disobedient to that voice because they are not willing to let go of their earthly belongings and will make excuses.
As we read in Revelation, God will deliver and protect those who are obedient:
"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent." Revelation 12:14
As Israel, in ancient times, was born on eagle's wings to be delivered from Egypt, *** Exodus 19:4, so will God lift up His people into His protective realm to deliver them from the face of the serpent for those 3 1/2 years of His wrath.
Both Isaiah and Zephaniah spoke of this protected place in God:
"Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
For, behold, the Lord cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain." *** Isa. 26:20-21
God has a people that the wrath will not touch, just as Noah was protected in the wrath. It was all around him, but he was in God's protected place and the wrath did not touch him.
Today is the Day of Preparation
God is preparing His people Spiritually, mentally and physically for the time that is directly ahead of us. He is preparing His people for this time of separation and fleeing. Places of refuge are being prepared throughout the earth to receive those who are prepared to flee.
Those who have been called out of confusion are laying the foundation of God's temple in their lives. There is a constant labor to be done by the people whom, when the Lord returns, He will inhabit.
We need to consider our ways before God. Are we pleasing in His sight, or will we be part of His wrath that He will pour out in all of His fury? He has given us His way that we need not partake of His judgement.
"Thus saith the Lord of Hosts; If thou wilt walk in My ways, and if thou wilt keep My charge, then thou shalt also judge My house, and shalt also keep My courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by." Zechariah 3:7
God has laid out our paths. These are the paths of righteousness. God has set before us this day a blessing and a curse: A blessing if we obey His commandments, and a curse if we disobey His commandments. Deuteronomy 11:26-28
As Joshua, we must choose this day whom we will serve. Will we obey government or God? Will we serve the idols of the world or the living God? The Lord of Hosts will build His house. Those who are part of that temple will go no more out, but will be a permanent part of God. These are those who will dwell in life eternal.
Today, God is raising up His temple in the earth that He will inhabit when He returns to earth. He will protect these through His wrath. They are not appointed to wrath, I Thessalonians 5:9. These will be called to flee to a place where God will protect them during the coming judgment.
God is calling this people unto Himself. Those who heed this call must overcome the world in their lives to stand before the Lord of Hosts.
